Australian Timber Boards
Australian Timber used in the kitchen or dsplayed as unique art work can be very attractive. A board featuring selected Australian timber creates a feeling for a person to naturally want to touch. Examples of work can be seen at the bottom of this page.
Great care has been taken to select the timber for its warmth, texture, grain, pattern and colour. It is then placed in combination to create a piece of art work. Each piece must compliment the next. Together it forms a vision to the viewer, bringing pleasure.
The end result - a piece of work that would be comfortable in either the kitchen being used as a cutting or cheese board or on display as a decorative piece for the coffee table or as a base of a crystal vase. Let your imagination go!
The boards made by Donnybrook Timber have been sourced from wood collected as recycled or naturally fallen. Great care as been taken to select naturally fallen timber, of which most is native to Australia. We ensure that the natural habitat surrounding the collection, preserves the area inhabitted by small native fauna and flora.
